January General Meeting

Our January 29, 2018 General Meeting brought our members out on a snowy day to listen to guest speaker Mr.Gary O’Neill, Executive Director of Kerr St. Mission.  We learned of all the great work that Kerr St. Mission is doing and how our financial support of their Homework Club has been successful. Gary also told us inspiring stories which confirmed that KSM is an essential part of our community.

May Court Nearly New Shop Open House!

Once a year our Grants Committee holds an Open House for local charities at our wonderful May Court Nearly New Shop to showcase where the majority of the funds we raise come from. Our shop was in fine form thanks to all our volunteers. Special thank you to all of them and to our Grants Committee. We had a well attended open house and the representatives from many charitable organizations were able to enjoy viewing the shop as well as do a little shopping! Through the Looking Glass Fashion Show 2017 – A Huge Success!


What a fabulous evening it was! May Court’s Through the Looking Glass Fashion Show with fashions from Tocca Finita and M for Men, fundraiser was a smashing success! Thank you to our presenting sponsor Briarwood Cosmetic and to all our sponsors, donors, and to each and every one of our guests who attended. Because of all of this support, we were able to raise $119,000.00!

100% of these funds will be directed to our May Court Scholarship Program and to Halton Region charities through our May Court Grants Committee.

Our beloved May Court Nearly New Shop celebrated 60 years of serving the community in March. Like all good parties, we celebrated with cake, balloons, prizes and special draws!
