On May 11th, May Court granted $100,000.00 to outstanding charitable organizations that are making our community a better place. Our volunteer members work hard all year to make this happen. Most of the funds come directly from the profits of our Nearly New Shop on Kerr St. Our Research Committee spends months analyzing the needs of our community, before deciding where the funds should go. We are proud to support these organizations:
Acclaim Health, Arthouse, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Clothing Works, Distress Centre Oakville, Epilepsy Halton, ErinoakKids, F.A.S.T., Food4Kids, Food for Thought, Halton’s Women’s Place, HIPPY, Home Suite Hope, Kerr Street Mission, Lighthouse for Grieving Children, March of Dimes Canada, Oakville Fareshare Foodbank, Oakville-Milton Humane Society, Oakville Parent-Child Centre, ROCK, S.E.N.A.C.A., St. John’s Ambulance, Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House, YMCA Oakville.
Mayor Rob Burton & the Town of Oakville declared Jan. 25, 2016 official
